As the president of the Korean Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences (KSAS) and on behalf of the organizing committees, it is my great privilege to cordially invite you to the 12th Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Aerospace Technology (APISAT 2021). As you are well aware of, APISAT 2020 to be held in 2020 has been rescheduled to 2021 with agreement by participating member organizations due to COIVD 19 pandemic.
APISAT has been the primer symposium and network for advancing the aerospace sciences and technologies in the Asia-Pacific region since its first inception in 2008 by the national aerospace societies of Korea (KSAS), Japan (JSASS), China (CSAA), and Australia (RAeS Australian Division).
The Asia-Pacific region has witnessed significant growth in the aerospace industry greater than it did in the past. Collaboration within this region may be highly beneficial and crucial to all the nations. The symposium will provide an opportunity for both academic researchers and industry engineers to discuss the current and future topics in aerospace engineering. It will be an important event also preparing for post-COVID 19 aerospace industry, which is calling for even closer collaboration in the region. The organizing committee has been planning exciting and informative conference programs including plenary lectures, symposia, workshops, tutorials on a wide range of topics, poster presentations, and social programs.
APISAT 2021, hosted by the Korean Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences (KSAS), will be held on Nov. 15th to 17th, 2021 at the Ramada Jeju Hotel, Jeju, Korea. Jeju is a beautiful island in South Korea as well as the nation’s symbolic icon providing the opportunity for visitors to experience mixed atmosphere of ancient Asian culture and incredible natural sites such as islands, volcanoes, waterfalls, beaches, national parks, caves and forests.
Despite some uncertain situations due to COVID 19, I greatly appreciate your participation and eagerly hope that APISAT 2021 will be a memorable event for all the participants. In addition, I would like to convey special thanks to the members of the APISAT 2021 Organizing Committee for their great efforts.
I look forward to seeing you in Jeju in this coming November!
